And they live untouched by sorrow in the islands of the blessed along the shore of deep-swirling Ocean, happy heroes for whom the grain-giving earth bears honey-sweet fruit flourishing thrice a year, far from the deathless gods...
welcome home to paradise.
history.
In a world full of prejudice and discrimination, conforming to standards and normalcy became means of survival. Anyone outside the spectrum of what was considered common were subject to ostracizing or, in some extreme occasions, witch hunts and public defamation. It wasn’t a life any parent would ever wish for their child, but what can a deity do? They have long taken their hands off matters concerning the mortals…
It was a flawless plan. The island had been shrouded in mist, tucked away from the mortals' prying eyes. Pan worked his magic and produced lush forestry; Poseidon wove the island with rivers that led to the ocean and lakes that served as an oasis for Artemis' wildlife. Hephaestus led the efforts in making sure the amenities were sturdy and right; Aphrodite busied herself in beautifying their new abode.
In a rare occurrence, the gods and goddesses of Olympia worked tirelessly towards one goal, and that was to create a home.
In an undiscovered island off the coast of South Korea and Japan, the deities created a paradise emerged for the half-gods; a safe space where they can just be themselves, without fear or worry; a fully-functioning community of seemingly ordinary individuals with extraordinary abilities was created for them to live harmoniously in; a haven where questions can be answered, and confusions can be cleared.
